Just letting people know that my art posting hiatus is likely to continue for a while longer, I *am* doing a fair bit of work that way, especially artisan crafts as well as some mural work, but I want to get my savings up for a few reasons, so so I've been keeping off posting & uploading large images to help keep costs down. So yeah, I'm keeping the dream alive, its just offline most of the time. I hope to get at least a few pieces up here this year, though, just to let people know I'm not dead yet :)

One thing I have become active again in online is the writing side of things, mainly getting back into fanfiction for fun & practice, plus I've started a fictionpress acc for original stuff (I have some original fic on my HD, but I need to fix the continuity & get it up to standard before). My ID on the Pit of Voles is ghosteye99 if your into that sort of thing, maybe the Trek fandom might force me to start drawing hoo-mons again ;p

Been a while...

Yes, I'm still alive and artistically active, but obviously not been putting much out on the web over the last couple of years. However, I have done a radical gallery cleanup here with most of my older, professional & rp-related artwork so I can keep this gallery aside for my personal & fanon purposes. As I've been wanting to put a professional-focused gallery up on the web for a while - and having still yet to find a suitable web host to my liking, I've started a new DA gallery rhagodia , which I'll start putting some work in later.

Any of my more pokemon-experienced watchers interested in giving me help & crit re' a concept for a fakemon concept I'm working on? I'm mainly after help making a comprehensive & game canon-friendly array of powers, attacks & vulnerabilities for a normal/poison-type fakemon (based on a small semi-realistic omnivorous canid with limited jet-assisted speed/flight ablitites, normal canid & poison-sludge atack, lazer-assisted visual tracking). I want to iron out the concept before doing the art, so if you can enlighten me further comment here :iconmudkipplz:

Dumping/update

3 min read

Two dogs a relative of mine picked off the highway this week, starving & probably dumped. (the rest of the pics are here, click "next" about twice).

That'd make about five so far she's picked up this way.

[ETA] - both dogs have been been taken by Moorook animal shelter, a no-kill shelter in my state, so they've got a bit more security re' their future than they both had a few days back.

[Update] My old pc clagged/broke down/expired etc. last Saturday night, it could be just a dust problem, but it might be a little while before I'm able to be back in action again.

----------------------------------
Been taking some time to do some more offline work on my site, especially the generator section (using DragonScholar's script). A sample of what I've achieved so far:

Spacecraft Generator:

"The Perth-class Shanghai BA is a 61-Meter Cruiser. This angular, mushroom-shaped craft is unusually resilient, and it's entertainment system is infamously mediocre while it's radar systems is famously mediocre. Another infamously unpredictable feature on this craft is its hydroponic system.

The Lupe-class KEK is a 8.6-Meter Scout craft. This blocky, triangle-shaped craft is inadequately resilient, and it's temperature control system is inadequately unreliable while it's gravity generator system is infamously unreliable. Another notoriously inadequate feature on this craft is its hydroponic system.

The KUC-QPY is a 351-Meter Freight liner. This gothic looking, cylinder-shaped craft is famously easy to pilot, and it's shielding device is notably excellent while it's gravity generator system is dangerously poor. Another dangerously inadequate feature on this craft is its ornamentation.

The Capra-class GZQ is a 5-Kilometer pleasure craft. This squat, hexagon-shaped craft is reputedly inadequate, and it's hygeine system is reputedly good while it's failure warning systems is unusually reliable. Another famously notable feature on this craft is its evacuation pods."

Fakémon** generator:

"Snorrekey is a iridescent white, russet and pearl okapi-stripe metallic type fakémon with a sustained rage, variable slash, variable song and a sustained minimise attack. It moderately resembles a humanoid heavy-set frog, and has a pig-like snout and whiskers. It is naturally found in unpolluted forests, and is moderately easy to capture, and moderately easy to train. It has a rebellious, sweet nature, 2 evolutions, and matures to 23 pounds (on average). It is very resistant to electrical attacks.

Venuoafree is a grey, silver and russet cammo-marked, legendary type fakémon, with a powerful confusion, slow wrap, sustained tail-whip and a quick psychic blast attack. It is naturally found in uncultivated swamps. It closely resembles a tripedal surreal bamboo, and has a skull-like face and ringed elbow antennae. It is moderately easy to capture, and moderately difficult to train. It has a sweet, stubborn nature, 1 evolution, and matures to 72 pounds (on average). It is slightly resistant to water attacks.

Medey is a chrome, iridescent grey and brass Rune marked, fiery type fakémon, with a sustained ember, sustained slap, intermittent horn and a slow head-butt attack. It loosely resembles a humanoid fleecy mosquito, and has a cute forehead curl and a tortoise-like shell. It is naturally found in uncultivated coasts, and is difficult to capture, and extremely difficult to train. It has a spiteful, playful nature, 2 evolutions, and matures to 259 pounds (on average). It is highly resistant to electrical attacks."

Horrible Space Disease (for your redshirts to get) Generator:

"The early symptoms of this moderately contagious, food-borne disease include ear dampness and dribbling, before progressing eventually onto weight loss, then finally to ear discharge with brown-mottled, weeping stomach. Untreated, the death rate is 55%, with any survivors recovering with permanent short-term intellectual disability. Currently, the best cures known have a 96% success rate, with a 65% possibility of relapsing. These cures are extremely expensive, and safe to get, but may only work for some, and have a small chance of addictive side effects."

"The early symptoms of this plant-borne disease include cannibalistic sleepiness and black-veined lumps on the jaw, before progressing eventually onto violent thirst, then finally to arteries spasms with suppurating aggressive delirium. Untreated, the death rate is 99%, with any survivors recovering with occasional lengthening of life-expectancy. Currently, the best cures known have a 20% success rate, with a 0% possibility of relapsing. These cures are fairly expensive, and safe to get and available to only to the privileged few, but may not work for some, and have a small chance of hostile infantility side effects.

The early symptoms of this slightly contagious, water-borne disease include pink eye discharge and dribbling, before progressing rapidly onto hiccups, then finally to blue lumps on the skin with mutating glands. Untreated, the death rate is 85%, with any survivors recovering with mild permanent deformities. Currently, the best cures known have a 97% success rate, with a 98% possibility of relapsing. These cures are fairly cheap, and dangerous for few to take, and have a great chance of shocking side effects."

Chimeric Creature generator:

"This creature has the head of a baboon, the neck and body of a rhea, the legs of an eagle, the hide of a blue-ringed octopus on it's back and rump, and the tail of a pilot whale.

This creature has the head of a bettong, the neck and body of a rhinoceros beetle, the legs of a wombat, the eyes of a moray eel, and the tail of a quoll.

It has the tail of a gila monster, the  social instincts and breeding behavior of a hummingbird, and two distinctive habits and/or physical features of a sled dog."

Chimeric Plant Generator:

"This small herb has the leaves of a holly tree, the sap of a Chinese gooseberry, and the rest is that of a bull-kelp.

This straggly herb has the stem of a papyrus reed, the leaves of a pecan, the flowers of a tulip and the fruit of a giant bamboo.

This small bush grows in the form of a geranium, has the bark of a thyme plant, the leaves of a pistachio, the flowers of a fumitory and the fruit of a lilly-pilly."

Medieval Fantasy/Heraldic-Style beast generator:

"This steel-ticked beast of legend and heraldry, known as the Deaun, has the head of a serpent, the torso and forelimbs of a buck, and the hind-body of a serpent. It also has camel-like humps, and a distinctive deadly scream. When it appears on a coat of arms, it represents neutrality and temperance. It is said to summon wine to any timid people it meets, and it is also said to both grant and take away wishes.

This burgundy and burgundy striped beast of legend and heraldry, known as the Deaen, has the head of a crane, the torso and forelimbs of an alphyne, and the hind-body of a sea serpent. It also has the horns of a antelope, and a distinctive sea smell. When it appears on a coat of arms, it represents unworldliness and piety. It is said it is known for taking the form of a prudent child, so to lure people to safety, and it is also said to be both a tough and a fearful trickster.

This Tawny beast of legend and heraldry, known as the Alloinx, has the head of a moorhen, the torso and forelimbs of a palfrey, and the hind-body of a cat. It also has a boar's snout, and a distinctive swiftness. When it appears on a coat of arms, it represents hope and leisure. It is said to have a friendly attitude to humanity, and it is also said that it will grant a family wish (that will require willing bloodshed to bring about) to those who can enter it's lair."
